It can sometimes feel as though the fashion industry is drowning in micro – or should I say, nano – trends. From billowing trousers and wacky shoes to “bare-backs” (surely one of the most common trends to feature on the Spring 2027 men’s runways), it can be a wild ride at times.

But even against the strong tides of the seasonal trend cycle, there are certain staples that hold steady, and when it comes to our transitional wardrobes, and the blazer is surely one of them. Made in all manner of ways, the blazer has been used in men’s attires for thousands of years and has long been lauded for its breathability, strength and natural elegant qualities.

Of course, in more recent years, it has become synonymous with a certain airy, sun-soaked aesthetic, and thus a popular choice for pairings on many occasions. And in recent seasons, we’ve seen a number of brands – both high street and designer – bringing a more elevated, sculptural spin on the classic style. For 2026, Louis Vuitton has really delivered in the elegant linen blazer stakes, with many of the brand’s iterations featuring a universally flattering fit and easy polish. For more cottagecore vibes, Dolce&Gabbana should be your first port of call, and we’re enjoying its cute crisp renditions this season – perfect for cocktail hour on holiday. Below, peruse LE MILE’s edit below and you’ll become the embodiment of the season in no time. You’re welcome.

Your wardrobe will naturally shift throughout the year, but Spring is the season when the weather dictates your clothing choices the most. As modeled ever brilliantly by Chritian Hogue, within a transitional capsule wardrobe you'll want a roster of reliable, classic pieces to make getting ready every day so much easier.

It can sometimes feel like a challenge to remain stylish in the depths of Spring, but these six wardrobe fixes will keep you poised and comfortable, in style. Choose wearable shades like white, navy and brown that will go with everything already in your wardrobe. Neutrals such as beige and cream also look especially chic, but just be mindful they may need a more playful take on pairing. Lastly: Fit is key. A slightly oversized cut allows room for a roomy shirt underneath and gives a more relaxed feel, while a slimmer or more tailored style offers polish for eveningwear, but isn’t the best for layering underneath on cooler summer days. Aim for styles that skims the body without swamping it, and make sure the sleeves are the right length – small alterations at your local tailor can make an enormous difference. You’re welcome.
