Editor´s Note

Franki Domino creates images that resemble memories without a real past. Carlo Morrone reworks found fragments until their original histories become secondary. At the Vitra Design Museum, Geoffrey Bawa’s architecture is reconsidered through buildings shaped by climate, landscape and use, while Russell Young returns to Marilyn Monroe as an image transformed by decades of reproduction. Lauren Greenfield looks at a generation whose lives are constantly photographed and resurfaced online. Lead Pencil Studio creates spaces that feel strangely known, while Alex Da Corte turns to jamais vu, when the familiar suddenly appears foreign.
